Saw the Mario movie today, and I got to say I really, really enjoyed it. It's what you hope for in an adaptation, and they pulled it off very well. The world is fun, the characters are fun and the voice cast was well-picked and put a lot of energy into their roles. Even good ole Pratt man who I was a bit worried about, but his voice does work. Bowser is the best character.

I loved the references and the music too. My only gripe with the movie is the pacing at points and some of the music. They don't let some things stick or sit for a while, it's always onto the next big moment. And the music choices aren't bad, they do fit, but I do wish they added some more original stuff. But that's really it.

I do recommend.

For those who are interested, I might be opening commissions some time in the future. I just want some advice and opinion from people. I know I'll have to write and make a commission sheet with what types of commissions, prices, what I'm willing and not willing to draw, etc. But I just want know if my art is good enough for commissions? Do I need more practice and experience? Is my style of art something that interests you? Any feedback would be helpful and taken into consideration.

For anyone wondering, I received my own drawing tablet for Christmas. Meaning my drawings won't suck as much. I'm happy :)
